CHIREC Parent Advisory Committee
CHIREC Parent Advisory Committee (CPAC) is a council of parents and teachers that provides input on policies, budget, and various other school matters. The members are particularly focused on working towards the success of students at school.
There are approximately 20 CPAC members representing all the sections of the school and whose participation is staggered in two-year terms. The members are selected based on their expertise in different fields and their ability to advise the school in various departments of school administration.
The committee meets once a year (academic term) to perform the following duties:
• Monitor the activities of the institution
• Prepare the School Development Plan and make recommendations for its implementation
• Review and advise the school on yearly events
• Approve the budget and fees for the upcoming year
