It`s time to celebrate our incredible IBDP students and their remarkable achievements! With seven students scoring 40 & above, including four students who achieved the highest score of 41, the Batch of 2023 has set new standards of excellence. We cannot miss but applaud their hard work, dedication and academic excellence. Our students excelled beyond the world average (30.24) with an impressive score of perfect 35! We are overjoyed and immensely proud of our students!

Scaling the zenith of success, our students bagged exceptional scores in their AISSE 2023 (Grade 10) results. Continuing the testimony of remarkable academic excellence, the CHIRECians’ efforts shone brightly in their results.

It was indeed a feat to witness 48% of our students scoring an aggregate of 90% and above. We are glad to share that Mihika Maddala was the top scorer of the school with an aggregate of 99.6% followed by Aayush Ranjan, who scored 99.4%. Rajit Singh Gour and Shruti Krishna Vekatesh were also notable top scorers with 99% and 98% aggregate respectively.

Once again, we`re thrilled to share the incredible success of our top-performing students in the AISSCE 2023 (Grade 12) results, showcasing our commitment to academic excellence year after year and setting benchmarks.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our toppers! With our dedicated effort to nurture well-rounded scholars, we proudly announce that more than 40% of our students across all streams have scored above 90%.

With exceptional scores in the Science stream, Nethra Krishnan achieved 98.2%, Mahika Chimata 98%, and Sanjana Rashmi Rao 97%. The commerce stream witnessed Trishang Agarwal`s remarkable 97.8%, Tanisi Ramrakhyani`s 97%, and Ishita Anand`s 96.8%. In the Humanities stream, Dhriti Poladi and Yasarapu Shresta shone brightly with 92.6%, Tanvi Mopidevi and Yaanna Rajiv Lulla with 92.2% and 90.6%, respectively.

Our student Sanika of Stage 10 is contributing to the community one step at a time by spreading the importance of organ donation. Her efforts led to 70 individuals pledging to donate their organs. Her efforts got featured in the leading national daily Times of India. Through this initiative, she is rejecting myths related to organ donation and creating a community consciousness regarding the same. We appreciate and support her cause

Our CBSE Grade 8 students Meehan Jain, Sahas Sandesh Maraboina, and Anirudh Amancherla stood first in the 10-13 years category at the Makers Hackathon organized by the Pravaha Foundation and IIIT Hyderabad. The event had 55 teams and four elimination stages. The CHIREC team`s project was a model PUD (Pipe Unclogging Device) that can autonomously unclog drains.

On the other hand, CAIE students Ishan Edlabadkar and Hari Hara Nalamotu of Stage 10 won the first position in the senior category amongst 120 teams and four elimination stages. They developed systems to sustainably prevent, predict, detect, and alert forest fighters about forest fires

Grade 8 CBSE students Anika, Anusha, Aryan, Mehul, Sourabhi and Vivan won a challenge at the Cognita School of Future Conference 2022. As part of the challenge, keeping CHIREC and its holistic thought in mind, under the theme of computational thinking and programming, our students developed a project titled Myth to suggest an ideal school in the future and designed a virtual world in Minecraft education.

Sachin of Grade 3 and Eva of Grade 6 won a bronze medal in the Singapore and Asian schools Math Olympiad 2022 organized by SASMO (Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad).

We are glad to share that our Grade 10 CBSE students have performed impeccably in the May 2022 board examination! CHIREC has recorded compelling results, with 98 students scoring above the 90-percentile mark.

We are delighted to share that our grade 12 CBSE students have performed brilliantly in the May 2022 board examination! CHIREC has recorded outstanding results, with 91% of students scoring above the 75-percentile mark and 40% of students scoring above the 90-percentile mark. We are proud of our students for their excellent performance despite the difficult circumstances under the pandemic! !

Our IBDP students demonstrated an exemplary performance in the May 2022 examination. The most exciting part comes with 15.7% of our students scoring a brilliant 40 points and above while 54.2% scored a whopping 35 points and above. The Average Grade Point for Diploma holders turned out to be 35. Sanjay Chunduru, Pranav Reddy Perumandla & Meeraa P Ramakrishnan stood out at the top with 44 Points each.

Our students won awards in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition conducted by the Royal Commonwealth Society. QCEC aims to inspire young people’s awareness of the Commonwealth family and help them develop their skills in creative writing, critical thinking, empathy, and experimenting freely with different literary genres.

Rishabh of Class 12 got his research paper titled “Differential privacy techniques for Healthcare Data” accepted for presentation at the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Electronic communications, Internet of Things, and Big Data 2022.

15 girl-students from CHIREC participated in a 7-week Data Science program organized by WE-Hub in collaboration with Stanford University’s Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative. The students worked in collaboration with participants from other schools to create various projects on the themes of Climate Change, Health Care, Quality Education and Agritech. They identified and researched real-life problems and shared possible solutions using data science concepts in front of a panel of esteemed academicians, data scientists, and corporate members. A special shoutout to Asmi of CHIREC’s Stage 9 who was part of the winning team whose project revolved around gender disparity within education.

Our CBSE students of Grade 11 completed their Online Entrepreneurship Program, initiated as an optional course by CBSE in 2021 in partnership with Udhyam Learning Foundation to give students experiential exposure and introduce them to the basics of developing a customer-centric business offering. A special shoutout to Shresta, Anjanaa, Visishta, Vishnu and Praney on getting their business proposals published in the ‘100 Innovations that Inspire’ business ideas booklet of CBSE and Udhyam Foundation.

We are delighted to share that our students have come out with flying colors in the IGCSE Results of the March 2022 Series! Despite 2 years under the adversities of the pandemic and the constraints of online and hybrid classes, the hard work and determination of our students and teachers never subsided. Disha Somendra and Samatva Kasat become the World Toppers and receive the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards in Mathematics in the IGCSE March Series 2021!

Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are the hallmark of exceptional student achievement in Cambridge exams around the world. Disha & Samatva are among 42 students in India to have received this highly coveted ‘Top in the World’ award.

Radha Mulay of Grade 8 represented CHIREC at the New Indian Express celebration of 75 years of Indian Independence. Radha was invited to speak on the topic ‘Nurturing Unicorns – How India’s Youth tend to Innovate’ and give her foresight on what India can achieve in the next 75 years.

3 IBDP CHIREC students, Rhea Thakkal, Meeraa Pudupatty and Ananya Talluri have been presented with the renowned Diana Award, launched by former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown to honor young people who improve the lives of others!

Vishruth Konakanchi of IB 12 and his team ‘Saffron’ bagged the bronze medal in the International Linguistic Olympiad 2021, for the country. After qualifying Round 1 at the Panini Linguistic Olympiad in India and Round 2 at the Asia Pacific Lingustic Olympiad, he represented India at the International Linguistic Olympiad. The IOL is one of the most prominent International Olympiads held annually testing young minds around the world against the toughest language-linguistic puzzles.

IBDP students Chirag Jain, Anshika Loomba and Ankitha Vontela participated in the Student Global Leadership 2021 Programme organized by Punahao School in Hawaii. It is a 10-day programme instituted for young leaders to gain an understanding of various global challenges and their solutions to spur positive social change in the world. The students presented their projects on the theme ‘Health’ and how they would like to use the proposed solutions in respect of their own country.

Asees Kanwar and Ayushi Jha of IB11 make their mark at Buddies Without Borders, an online global platform where students from across the globe convene to discuss issues of global significance. The two students added value to the conference that saw participation from 19 countries by sharing their perspectives on Human Migration and Its Consequences.

Our Grade 12 CBSE students have performed exceptionally good in their AISSCE examinations, with one of the most brilliant results CHIREC has ever witnessed. Our IBDP students have excelled in the May 2021 examinations with some of the best results we’ve ever seen. 39% of our students scored 40 points and above, 100% of our students who registered received diploma and the Average Grade Point for diploma holders turned out to be 37. Our School Topper, Devesh Kumar Bag got the perfect score of 45 points. Despite all the uncertainties and challenges imposed by the pandemic and the never-ending stress over the conduct of the examinations, our students have fared brilliantly.

Our IGCSE Batch of 2021 achieve some of the best results this year in the March series examinations. This year’s results observed 10% of our students scoring all A* and 24 students with an exemplary mix of A* and A.

Ms. Thanya Yohannan, Behavioral Counsellor at CHIREC was invited to speak at the Online Cambridge Schools Conference on 25th June 2021 on the theme of wellbeing!

15 months into battling the pandemic, it has become more important than ever to look after of the emotional well-being of children. The session saw Ms. Thanya interacting with teachers from around the globe discussing various approaches to student wellbeing. The Conference also saw keynote speakers, Dr. Ros McLellan and Prof. David Putwain discussing important topics such as `school connectedness` and ‘test anxiety hindering student’s well-being`.

Govind Kotagiri of Grade III became the 1st runner up in a coding competition conducted by CODELQ, India’s largest aptitude development platform. CODELQ focuses on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and reasoning skills in children

Mohammed Eshan of Grade 5C has secured an All-India Rank of 6 and received the NAC Merit Certificate in the National Astronomy Challenge 2021! This platform endeavors to promote an understanding of space and astronomy amongst young generations.

Congratulations to Dr. Manju Sharma, IGCSE & IBDP Facilitator and Head of Hindi Department for receiving the Shiksha Bhushan Samman! This award conferred by Shaikshik Sahitya Sanstha Hindi Academy honors educators across India who have made exceptional contributions in the field of education.

Congratulations to our student Deekshitha Alladi of Stage 9A for winning the third position in the StoryMirror Schools Writing Competition with her beautiful poem called The Solitary Tree. The poem is a touching, tragic prose that voices the planet’s woes and shows us what continued climate inaction might mean for humans.

We are so proud of our students, Thej Mallu of IB 11, and Rohan Seelamsetty & Karthik Palakodeti of Stage 9 for being selected for the Indian National Debating Squad - 2021! They are among the top 17 members to form the Squad and will be participating in National and International Debating Competitions.

Indian Schools Debating Society (ISDS), a non-profit organisation, conducted online national selections for the first time this year. They held various Junior and Senior selection tournaments for students across the country, in addition to a separate online application-based selection process. The top 66 debaters attended the National Selection Camp over two weekends in November 2020, where they were exposed to practice debates, quizzes, and topical lectures from some of the best trainers. At the end of the camp, the top 17 members were selected to participate in various competitions in 2021.

Ishani Nandamuri of our A Levels Batch of 2020 received the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award – an award recognizing High Achievement in India for Cambridge AS Level Design & Textiles in the November 2019 Cambridge examinations series. We are proud of her exemplary performance, hard work and determination.

Vivek Rishi Panchagnula of Stage 10 received the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award! He secured the highest marks in India for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (Without Coursework) in the March 2020 Cambridge examinations series. We are proud to see him recognized for his hard work and extraordinary performance.

Congratulations to Abhishek Kommineni of Stage 10 A and his team for winning the second position at the TYE Virtual Finale on August 30, 2020. The team’s initiative ShoppyCart bagged three different 3 awards comprising the runners up, popular choice and maker faire award. TiE Hyderabad launched TYE Virtual program in June 2020, wherein 42 of the 207 applicants underwent a rigorous curriculum on entrepreneurship development with several classroom sessions, workshops and mentoring over 3 months.

Around 42 students from various educational institutions across the globe formed 7 teams and pitched their ideas in under 10 minutes through a recorded video, followed by a QnA round to a panel of eminent jury. ShoppyCart is an eco-friendly shopping stroller which organizes grocery items into various compartments, preventing product damage, leakage and provides a hassle-free shopping experience.

We are so proud of our student Meeraa Ramakrishnan of IBDP 11, for receiving the Best Representative award in the Buddies without Borders program and bagging a free year-long International online internship! She was one of the finalists who represented India in this global network of students that provides students an opportunity to engage in thoughtful research, evidence, analysis and reflection to name a few.

Buddies Without Borders Online Forums are a month-long, web-based collaboration and competition attended by students aged 12-18 around the world. These Forums are conducted 3-4 times a year, and no more than 3-4 representatives from each country are selected to meet weekly online. Students are grouped internationally into teams, assigned a country as their joint identity, and together they debate and co-author recommendation papers to solve a predefined SDG-related challenge.

The winning team`s paper is published online, and one Best Representative receives a free year-long International Online Internship provided by Leadership Initiatives and funded by top organizations including Microsoft and Starbucks.

Our IGCSE Batch of 2021 achieve some of the best results this year in the March series examinations. This year`s results observed 10% of our students scoring all A* and 24 students with an exemplary mix of A* and A.

Congratulations to the two brilliant teams comprising Karthik Palakodeti & Rohan Seelamsetty and Rushil Nanga & Rohan Shastry of Stage 9 for representing India at the International Competition for Young Debaters (ICYD), hosted online by the Oxford Union Society on May 4, 2020.

Rohan Seelamsetty unanimously won the Best Speaker award and Karthik was ranked as the 10th best speaker at the competition.

Over 60 teams had qualified from their regional and national selections (including teams from Canada, UK, Europe, Malaysia, and China) to the ICYD finals day. One of our teams had entered the finals and unfortunately, lost by a slight margin. .

ICYD is the largest international competitive debating tournament for junior debaters aged 15 and under and is hosted year on year in alternate venues by the Cambridge Union and the Oxford Union.

The team Technic Alphas that comprised two of our brilliant students Abhiram (Grade VI F) and Akhila (Grade IV) has won the CHAMPIONSHIP AWARD in Regional South India FIRST LEGO League competition held on January 18-19, 2020, at Agha Khan Academy. The team has been qualified for the National Level round which is going to be held in Chennai in February 2020.

Our student Meera Ramakrishnan from Stage 10 of the International section became the world topper with a perfect 100% result in mathematics! She received the prestigious Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award for scoring the highest in the world in the IGCSE mathematics examination in March 2019.

 “I never really considered Mathematics as my métier until I was presented with the opportunity to take the Accelerated Math course as one of my electives in Stage 9. Frankly, I was quite hesitant and apathetic, but my parents and teachers encouraged me to pursue it and do my best. Once I signed up for the course, I made sure to work through every past paper that I could find. Ultimately, my hard work yielded excellent results, and I scored 100% in the exam,” said Meera Ramakrishnan

Our brilliant alumnus Nitya Reddy Mareddy (‘A’ Levels Batch of 2018-19) has been ranked highest in the country! She has won the prestigious “Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award” in Design & Textiles in the November 2018 Cambridge examination series. Her outstanding performance in the exam is credited to her hard work, dedication, and sincerity.

“When I joined CHIREC in 11th grade, I was very confused and had no idea what I wanted to study in college. I always enjoyed doing creative stuff, so I took Design and Textiles. I instantly started to fall in love with the subject. Thanks to Namita ma’am, I learnt so much and I always got to challenge myself as she pushed us to do better. Thank you CHIREC for giving me the opportunity to study this subject. I am currently pursuing fashion at London College of Fashion,” said Nitya Reddy Mareddy.

Congratulations to the toppers of the Primary Checkpoint Exam 2019! Nisha Sriram scored highest in two subjects. She scored 75% in English and 93% in Science. Adit Somendra bagged 96% in mathematics, achieving the highest in the subject.

Congratulations to the toppers of Secondary Checkpoint Exam 2019! Ananya Kalidindi scored the highest in English with 86% whereas Vivek Rishi Panchagnula received a perfect 100% in Science. Risha Vishnu Bhat topped mathematics with 98%.

Congratulations to the students for securing the First and Second place in the C-HUB Better Bots Challenge. Team Dark Phoenix from CAIE section bagged the first price and the team Avengers from CBSE section secured the second position!

As the Principal, improving students` learning outcomes is of utmost priority. This can happen only when teachers can improve their teaching-learning strategies and leaders can guide and motivate their teams well. The certification in Educational Leadership will enable me to train school leaders to adopt, implement, and imbibe best leadership practices that would certainly lead to enhancing learning outcomes.

Having undergone this training and certification, I have access to some excellent resources as I am now a part of the Cambridge Learning Community. I shall be able to connect with other Program leaders and guide and help my candidate teachers enrolling for the course and help the community at large.

This will also benefit my school tremendously as now we will not have to turn to an external guide or facilitator to conduct the PD sessions; these can be done in-house, under one umbrella!

A program leader in teaching and learning is a person who is Cambridge certified to tutor and mentor candidates desiring to enroll for CICTL or CIDTL. The program leader steers the candidates from the entry point through to the completion of the certification for the course.

Since I, as an employee of the school, have been accredited the program leader, CHIREC gets accredited as a center for offering the course. Our school teachers can become Cambridge certified teachers and it can be extended to the teachers from other schools as well. Right now, I am qualified to offer CICTL. Kanak Agarwal topped the Commerce stream with 96.8%. She scored the highest in Fashion Studies (100%) and Business Studies (99%).

Aanya Khandelwal and Rita Abani topped the Science stream with 95.6%. Rita scored the highest in English (97%) whereas Ananya scored the highest in Physics and Chemistry (97%).

Congratulations to Aritro Ray of VI D and Aayush Ranjan of VI C for winning first position in The Hindu - BPCL Science Quiz - Junior Category, held on 15th February 2019 at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram Auditorium in Baghlingampalli, Secunderabad.

This was the 1st edition of quiz format that focused entirely on science.

Congratulations to Shashaank A Venkatesh (Grade XI B) for winning the 14th Hyderabad Regional Brain Bee. Indian National Brain Bee and KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad organized the 14th Hyderabad Regional Brain Bee, a neuroscience contest for Class XI Biology students on Sunday, February 10, 2019. The winner and the first runner up will take part in the upcoming Indian National Brain Bee contest to be held at Chennai in May.

Sohini Rangarajan Paul of Stage 9C, Donna Thakker of Stage 9C and Ramesh Babu of IB 11 were congratulated for securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the Young Entrepreneurs competition and applauded for their efforts and business ideas. Sohini will go on to participate in an international business plan competition in Boston in June 2019.

K.Ramesh Babu of IB 11 A and his team Flood Drop won third place. They aim to reduce the impact of floods on houses by a sophisticated balloon technology.

Congratulations to Aritro Ray (Grade 6 D) for winning the 1st place and Disha Somendra (Stage 7 C) for winning the 2nd place in the Sakshi Spell Bee Category-3, held on January 27, 2019 at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Congratulations to Thej Mallu (Stage 9 B) for being selected as one of the members of the Indian National Debating Squad by the Indian Schools Debating Society.

From intense selection workshops that were held in 5 zonal centres spread across North, South, East, West and Central India and a separate online submission track, 48 of the top debaters from around the country were invited to national trials.

Students finished a 5 day selection camp that took place in Chennai from 29 December 2018 to 2 January 2019 where the talented squad for 2019 was selected.

Congratulations to Pavani Atchula of CAIE A Levels (Batch of 2018) for winning the ‘Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award’ for High Achievement in Design & Textiles for the CAIE November 2017 series.

“My love for art, craft, and fashion naturally made me gravitate towards Design and Textiles. Over the course of my studies for my AS level examinations, I further understood the working of the Fashion Industry, the in-depth knowledge of Textiles, the evolution of fashion, the elements of design, and firmly grasped the concept and acquired the skill of designing and stitching various types of garments myself. This course has helped me develop my creative skills and gave me the confidence to pursue Design in college and eventually make it my career. India Spell Bee is a pioneer in conducting spelling competitions among students across major cities in India. CHIREC flag flew high at the final round of this years competition, held on the 27th of January, 2014.

Four CHIREC students were declared winners across various categories, winning CHIREC the Champion School Trophy.

In Category I, Ria Sinha of Class II A (Cambridge) won the First prize, while Aryav Taneja of Class II A (CBSE) came in Second.

Category II : Snigdha Mishra of Class IV C (CBSE) won First place in Category II, while Darshana Murlidhar of Stage VII (Cambridge) placed 4th in Category III

We are pleased to announce that our students Shruthi Sivaramakrishnan of Class Nursery (GB) and Tanisha Vasudevan of Class PPI(JH) will represent INDIA at the Rhymes World Cup! They were selected from 7000 participants around the country.

Congratulations to Pranay Mathur of X A for winning the All India 70th rank in NSTSE. He was awarded a trophy at the awards ceremony conducted by Unified Council on April 21, 2019, at Ravindra Bharati.
To add to that, his story `The Interplanetary Margarine Trail` got published in an anthology `Advent` by HydRAW (Hyderabad Readers & Writers) the book release of which was held at Hotel Mint Jupiter in Kondapur on April 21, 2019.

Congratulations to Ainesh Advani of Class X, Aditya Ranjan Padhi of Class IX, Adhiraj Bhagat and Shrinivas Nandi of Class XI for winning First position in the final round of ‘Exodia’16’ held at IIT Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) by Entrench Electronics. They made it to the finals after winning the Zonal round. The students designed and built a Fast Wireless Controlled DC Propulsion Vehicle in such a manner that it completed the allotted tasks while accomplishing all the hurdles in the shortest period of time with most efficiency.

The State Toppers Telangana have been awarded Gold medals for their performance in the IAIS examination. From CHIREC, Karun Mongia (Class V) topped in Computer Science, Pahi Srivastatva (Class IV) topped in English, Sragavi Prerana Kalluri (Class IV) and Aayush Daga (Class IV A) topped in Science. Congratulations to our young achievers!

The results of the GCE A Level and IGCSE Examinations are out, and our CHIRECians have, once again, performed beautifully. Congratulations to Trupthi Joshi, who topped with an 84% aggregate from 4 A-level subjects, receiving an A grade for each. We are proud to announce that 61% of the students who took the exam secured a score of 70% or higher.

We also congratulate Deepti Sunkara and Geetika Navani for topping the IGCSE Examinations. Deepti Sunkara received an aggregate score of 91.6%, with 8 A* grades and 2 A grades. Geetika Navani also received an aggregate score of 91.6% with 7 A* grades and 1 B grade. 80% of the students who took the IGCSE Exams scored an aggregate of 70% or higher, with 55% of the students earning an A or an A*.

Congratulations to Sohini Rangarajan Paul of Class VI C for placing 3rd out of over 31500 schools from 1400 cities in 19 countries, in the 5th annual SOF International English Olympiad!

Congratulations to Ishan Bhasin from Grade 9 B for being selected as the only student from the southern region to attend a 3-day Astronomy Workshop in Singapore. Ishan was chosen amongst 10 other students of Grades 5 – 9 from different schools in India, after participating in a one-hour quiz competition in April 2017, organized by STEM Research & Innovation, in association with Astronomy Training Company, SDRO. Ishan, with his escort teacher Ms. Vidhu Saxena, visited Singapore from 29^th August to 1^st September 2017 and received the award from renowned professionals in the field of Astrophysics and space sciences.

Congratulations to Dr. Manju Sharma, a veteran CHIREC teacher for being commemorated with the ‘Acharya Devo Bhava National Award’ for her significant contribution to the field of education. The top 50 educators from a list of 500 were selected for the coveted award. The IGCSE Hindi as Second Language text-books for Stages 1- 10 authored by Dr. Manju will be published and taught in schools soon.

Nyla Siddique of Stage 7C won the second prize in the Pioneer Fantasy Writing Competition, 2021. Her fantasy story revolved around how she discovers the secret about her mother being a fairy and the bond of love they share with each other.

Kartika Balaram of Grade 5B, Aadi Rammani of Grade 7A and Shriyaa Sagaram of Grade 10A secured the third position in Printing, 3D Art and Digital Art respectively at Satrang, the Annual Art Festival organized by Glendale Academy held on July 10, 2021.

Rohan Seelamsetty and Karthik Palakodeti of Stage 10 win the International Competition for Young Debaters held on May 1, 2021! The competition was hosted by Cambridge Union and observed more than 1000 students from around the world participating in 12 regional rounds before the Finals Day

“Dandelions and Dynamite”, a poem composed by Esha Shah of Class 10, is one of the 5 winning entries at the TWI Women’s Day 2021 Contest organized by the US-based online magazine The Woman Inc. Congratulations to Hitisha Pottangi of Grade VII A for winning in the 17th anniversary Art Contest organised by Global Art Singapore from December 1 to 15, 2020! She bagged the 2nd place in India and 4th place internationally, competing with more than 800 students across the world.

We are so delighted to share that our student, Sinchan Sahoo of Stage 8 C, won the first prize in the Cognita Asia Photography Contest! She will be receiving a Canon camera as a prize!  

The contest was organized by Cognita Asia on the theme `Our world – Sustainability` and was judged by one of Thailand’s leading photographers, Jirasak Panpiansin.

Varenya Reddy of Stage 12 made her mark on the world with her incredible writing skills. With the release of 3 books, and many published pieces, Varenya is a true testament to the fact that age doesn’t determine the value of the contributions we can make.

Suhani Paruvelly of Class VII E has done CHIREC proud by receiving the CTSS scholarship from the CCRT, Ministry of Culture (Government of India) for her exceptional and outstanding talent in the field of Kuchipudi classical dance.
Suhani bagged a certificate in Kuchipudi from the Guinness World Records for performing in Maha Brinda Natyam, on 25th Dec 2012 at the Gachibowli stadium.
Suhani has been pursuing the divine dance form of Kuchipudi from Gurus Padmabhushans Dr(S). Raja Radha Reddy and is a senior disciple of their academy “Natya Tarangini”. She has recently participated in Parampara Series 2014 Bh-üvay-ümi -An aesthetic representation of Dance, Music and Literature on 3rd September 2014 at Kamani Auditorium (New Delhi) with Guru Yamini Reddy and was felicitated by Shri LK Advani.
Suhani performed a Kuchipudi recital on 11th October at the Global Peace Auditorium, Brahmakumaris, Gachibowli for International Conference of IACP inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul kalam.
Suhani says “Through Music and Dance, I would like to spread peace and happiness to all beings!”

Students from CHIREC participated in the Bharat Vikas Parishad, a renowned singing competition. Komma Ramesh Babu (C7A), Anish Lalith Paladugu (VIB), Sankarshanaa S. Sagaram(VIF), Sravan Madhav Parakala (VIE), Saathvik Shreyas (C7B), Anish Nimaraju (VIF), Devesh Agarwal (C6A) and Vineeth (VIC) won the 1st place in the Sanskrit song category. Priyanka Varma (VIF), Akshaya Venugopal (VIE), Priyanka Samavedam (VIF), Neha Chitapatla (VIIF), Kena Shah (VIIF), Khyati Narang (VIIF), Sreenidhi Ramaswamy (VIB) and Sravya Gonella (VIIID) bagged the Second prize in the Hindi song category. CHIRECians come out in flying colours at the Artistic Dance Skating Competitions! Dipesh Sablaka of Class III E won two Gold medals at the Hyderabad district Artistic Dance Skating Competition. She also won a Silver and a Bronze medal at the Inter -district Artistic Dance Skating Competition.
Jitisha Sablaka of Class VC won two Bronze medals at the Hyderabad district Artistic Dance Skating Competition, and two Bronze medals at the Inter- district Artistic Dance Skating Competition.

Congratulations to Sukriti Lakhtakia of Class 10D, who was awarded Senior Gold in the 2014 Queens Commonwealth Essay Competition! Her unique perspective on how competition affects our lives and what Team Commonwealth means to the athletes participating in the Commonwealth games, earned her the well-deserved accolade.
As she said, “…we perceive both – competition and co-operation – to be antonyms. While the former makes us work against each other, the latter makes us work together. Per contra, combining both the concepts can give us a promising scenario, competition + cooperation = comperation, which is precisely what the Commonwealth Games objective is!”

We are proud to announce that Aanya Jaidka of Class II E has been crowned Champion in the Kolor Champ 15 – 3rd Regional Competition, held in Telangana!

Congratulations to Aakanksha Atul Porabia of Grade III E (Category A) and Maitri Rangarajan Paul of Grade X C (Category C) for being declared as winners in the Annual Art Exploration 2015-2016. They participated in the Small Hand Big Art competition, conducted in collaboration with Lalit Kala Akademi and Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art. Their paintings will be displayed at the Exhibition Hall of Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art from May 28 – 30, 2016.

Maitri Rangarajan Paul has also been invited to a sponsored Workshop being conducted at the prestigious Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai.

M.Gauravi Reddy received the Narayana Bala award in the junior category at an event organized at Eluru by Abhinaya Nrutya Bharati on 16th July 2017. Gauravi is a part of the 6117 Kuchipudi dancers who have etched their names in the Guinness Book of World Records by performing a Kuchipudi dance for Maha Brunda Natyam organized by Silicon Andhra in Vijayawada in 2016.

The CHIREC girls have once again made us proud with their outstanding performance at the 17th ISAFF India National Aerobics Championship 2023. Our team brought home a total of 8 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze medals in the Under 7, 9, 11, and 14 categories. The hard work and dedication of these young athletes is truly inspiring.

CHIREC’s Basketball Team won the 3rd ISSO National Games Basketball Competition, held at Jayeshree Periwal International School, Jaipur, from 31st March to 4th April 2022.

Akshay Khajandar of Grade 7 wins the 1st & 4th positions in the Under-13 and Under-15 Boys category respectively at the 8th Telangana State Stag Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championships 2021 held at the Awa Table Tennis Academy, Hyderabad. With this accomplishment, Akshay becomes the State Champion for 2021 and will continue representing the state Telangana in the forthcoming nationals.

Ananya Donekal of Grade 10 secures the 4th position in the Under-17 Girls category at the 8th Telangana State Stag Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championships 2021. She will be representing the state of Telangana in the forthcoming nationals.

Venkat Rishi Batlanki of Grade 9 B won the 3-day Under-18 Championship Series conducted by All India Tennis Association from August 16-18 at Lake View Tennis Academy, Hyderabad! AITA provides grants, scholarships and training to all levels players and provides them opportunities to represent the country in various Global Championships.

Adhya Neelakantam wins 4th prize in Under 11 Masthanaiah Fide Rapid Rating Open Chess Tournament held on 17-18 April, 2021 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Indoor Stadium Hyderabad! The International Chess Federation organizes and regulates chess competitions throughout the world that helps in amplifying students’ exposure and talents.

She also secured the 4th position in the U-11 category of Telangana State Ranking Chess Tournament organized by Telangana State Chess Association on 21st March 2021 at Lal Bahadur Stadium, Basheerbagh! The Association provides the players with necessary facilities and opportunities to promote and harbor their talent.

Shivaansh Aggarwal of Stage 9D and Ahaan Aggarwal of Stage 4C have bagged Silver medals in Hyderabad District Taekwondo Championship 2021-22 organized in GHMC Indoor Stadium on March 28, 2021. The students are also selected for Telangana State Taekwondo Championship 2021 which is soon to be held.

Raasha Reddy Legala of Stage 8 has won the Bronze Medal in Skateboarding at the 58th National Roller-Skating Championship (11-14 category) held on April 10, 2021 in Mohali. This competition organized by Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) observed more than 3500 participants from 19 states competing in various sports like roller derby, skate cross, skateboarding and roller freestyle.

Asin Kommineni of Stage 8A bagged the Runner-up Trophy in Under 14 AITA Championship Series held at Sania Mirza Academy on April 12, 2021! AITA nurtures the talent of players by providing them training and further imparts grants and opportunities for a healthy representation in worldwide tennis championships.

Congratulations to M. Samhita Varma of IB 11, for representing the Sports Authority of India team (SAI) in the 34th sub-junior Handball Nationals. M. Samhita Varma participated in a 3-week coaching camp at the National Institute of Sports, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, where 20 girls attended the camp from various parts of India. 16 girls were then selected to play for the all India SAI team at the Nationals. We are happy to announce that the Sports Authority team has qualified for the finals after a smooth victory against the Delhi team, becoming the National Champion in sub-junior Under-15 Girls Category.

Meghana Gundlapally, a Cambridge A-Level student at CHIREC, is an International Rhythmic Gymnast. We offer our heartiest congratulations to Meghana for being the highest scoring Indian gymnast in the recently concluded 8th Senior Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships, where she won the ‘People’s Choice’ Award. She was also the ‘All Round Bronze’ medalist in the National games held in Kerala in 2015.

CHIREC’s talented athletes attended the CBSE Cluster VII Table Tennis Tournament 2016-2017, which was held at Sri Prakash Synergy School (Peddapuram, East Godavari) from the 13th-15th of October, 2016.

Pranav Nallar (7E), Atharva Moghe (6B) and Ayush Daga (5B) competed as a team in the ‘Under-14 Boys Team’ category, and brought home Silver medals and a Trophy for winning 2nd place. Pavan Nalluri won 3rd place in the ‘Individuals’ category. Aishwarya Daga (8E), Piija Khajandar (6A) and Ananya Donekal (6D) participated in the ‘Under-14 Girls Team’ category, and obtained 2nd place, Silver medals and a Trophy as well.

The Girls Team set the bar high with Palak J. Shah (10C) and Vidhi Gupta (9B) competing as a team to win 1st place, earning them Gold medals and a Trophy. Aishwarya Daga and Palak J. Shah also won 1st place in the ‘Individuals’ categories for their own age groups. The weekend of victories was made even better when Palak J. Shah, Vidhi Gupta, and Aishwarya Daga were all selected for Nationals.
