IBDP
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a rigorous, challenging, and balanced two-year university-preparation programme with a global reputation for excellence. It is a passport to elite universities everywhere in the world. The IBDP is a truly international programme that focuses entirely on students’ needs for the twenty-first century.
IB learners study 6 subjects across standard and higher levels (SL and HL) that take them on a meta-cognitive journey into discovering What they know, How they know, and Where they want to take their learning. In addition, they study Theory of Knowledge (TOK), write an Extended Essay, which is an independent, self-directed research project, and engage in Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) activities. We offer the following subjects for students to select from across the groups:

CHIREC’s IBDP had offered me the subjects of my choice and having experienced faculty differentiated CHIREC from other schools. The IBDP specifically enhanced my analytical and communication skills which have helped me in every facet of life – from founding my EdTech venture to being a CTO of a Fashion-Tech startup. Further, it geared me for my academic journey to pursue Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.

Hi everyone! I’m Sameeksha Reddy, the Head Girl of the CBSE section at CHIREC. I’ve been in CHIREC for 15 years and I’ve always considered it to be my second home. School has been my safe space where apart from learning immensely, I’ve grown into the person I am today. Recently, I’ve secured an All India Rank 125 and 5th rank in Telangana in CLAT, helping me pursue my interest in law from the best law university in the country. My teachers and peers at CHIREC have been extremely supportive, helping me do well in school while preparing for the entrance. Outside the classroom, I am the captain of the school volleyball team and have been learning Kuchipudi for 7 years, while performing in different government programs. I’ve also held the position of USG Marketing in the CHIREC MUN 2023. I am grateful for the entire CHIREC family for bringing out the best in me always, whether it is academics or extracurriculars.
