Ms. Katyayini VKLT

An adept educator and a staunch leader, Ms Katyayini comes with vast experience of 27 years in education. Throughout her career she has adopted roles like Research Associate, Lecturer, Senior Coordinator, Headmistress, Vice Principal, Senior Vice Principal. From 2024, she assumed the role of Principal for the CBSE Section at CHIREC International School.  

During her two-decade tenure at CHIREC, Ms. Katyayini has been an integral part of the academic committee, driving the introduction of innovative teaching methodologies. Ms. Katyayini’s visionary leadership led to the inception of several impactful programs, notably the CHIREC Hackathon and an array of student-led initiatives. These initiatives encompass student-led subject-specific workshops in diverse areas such as Automobile, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Designing, Photography, and Filmmaking. She has championed project-based learning methodologies, spearheaded the Online Student Council Elections, and facilitated the creation of subject-specific magazines. Moreover, she played an instrumental role in implementing the crowdfunding program and empowering students to lead community service activities. 

Ms. Katyayini holds a B.Sc. in Home Science from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, Hyderabad, and an M.Sc. in Clothing and Textiles from Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University in Hyderabad. Complementing her academic achievements, she obtained a certificate in School Leadership and Management from the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration. Her pursuit of continuous learning led her to complete the Strategic Leadership Programme from Aditya Birla Education Academy and acquire certification as an International Certified Career Coach through a Career Counselling Course. 

Her rich educational background is complemented by extensive experience in academic audit and a steadfast commitment to enhancing the professional development of educators. Ms. Katyayini has played a pivotal role in empowering teachers through meticulously organized professional development sessions. Her tenure as an academic head has propelled CHIREC onto the national stage for its exceptional academic achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence in education. Under her leadership, CHIREC has gained prominence for its remarkable academic standards, contributing significantly to the institution’s reputation as a center of educational excellence.
