Ms.Ratna Reddy

With over 30 years of experience in education, Ms. Ratna Reddy is an accomplished and visionary educationist who pioneered new-age education in Hyderabad. Over three decades, Ms. Reddy took the school from its inception as The Children’s Recreation Center and CHIREC Preschool in 1989 to its status as one of India’s premiere K-12 educational institutions in 2018. During that time, CHIREC nurtured many thousands of global citizens who are now changing the world for the better in India and abroad.

Alongside her commitment to providing globally benchmarked K-12 education to her students, Ratna Ma’am, as she was affectionately known to students, teachers, parents and friends of CHIREC, placed the professional development of CHIREC’s faculty as a top priority. When building the foundations of CHIREC, Ms. Ratna Reddy took the simple idea of clubbing content from an Indian curriculum with the best of teaching practices from around the world to build a school that would groom national and global leaders. Under her visionary leadership, CHIREC grew into a trusted educational brand and academic powerhouse and provided an environment that encouraged growth, fostered creativity, exploration and discovery; her ideals remain her legacy to CHIREC and still infuse its philosophy of holistic education, outstanding personal development and excellent academic attainment.
